Paper is such a common material in our daily life that we do not pay attention to it, even though we use it continuously throughout the day. On average, 300 million tons of paper are used worldwide each year.
How to make recycled paper?
The recycling potential of paper per year in Mexico is around 22 million tons, you can contribute by recycling from the comfort of your home.
Materials:
- A blender.
- Sheets of paper (20 sheets) notebooks, magazines, newspapers, etc.
- Frame with fine plastic or metallic mesh.
- Medium tub.
- Sponge.
- White glue.
The materials to stick with the paper can be several, among them:
- Grass or flower petals.
- Diamond.
- Pieces of colored threads.
Important. The paper residues must be removed to keep the organic paper, remove clips, glue, staples, plastics, laminations, etc. The idea is just to recycle the paper.
Recycling paper.
Procedures:
- Break the sheets of paper and blend them with a little water to obtain the pulp.
- Fill the tub with water, pour in the paper pulp and add 20 ml of resistol.
- Add the grass, petals or diamond; together or just one, as you prefer and mix.
- Dip the rack in such a way that the pulp is retained at the top.
- With the sponge, remove the excess water from the frame.
- On a flat surface, preferably plastic, take apart the pulp and remove the frame.
- Now wait for the paper to dry and that’s it.
As you can see, recycling paper is very easy and has a great impact on the benefit of our environment. Every piece of trash we throw away is a resource and contains great potential to create something new and wonderful.
