Inventors and creative geniuses around the world do not rest and offer their ideas at the service of the world and the curious, transferring these ideas from imagination to reality. From objects that we use every day to novelties that are not yet massive, we present you 10 ecological inventions that were born to change our lives and take care of our environment.

10 Smart Green Inventions

Recycling

Perhaps the father of all the “ecological movement”, recycling was installed little by little in our lives, from being something that required our effort to become one more habit of our daily lives, which does not involve anything more than separating our waste. Glass, cans, paper and cardboard, organic waste – everything has its place.

From bag to fuel

The Japanese company Blest Corporation created a machine that turns plastic bags into oil to be used as fuel. This machine is not only for industrial purposes, but can be installed in homes. For 10 thousand dollars and with a consumption of one kW, this machine converts two pounds of plastic into one liter of oil.

Low consumption lamps

They are among us, perhaps at every point in your house. Low consumption lamps not only take care of the environment, but also your pocket. They save energy by using 75% less electricity than ordinary lamps. They last up to 10 times longer and provide the same light intensity as their predecessors.

Hybrid car

Do you want to free yourself from dependence on fossil fuels and contribute your grain of sand to caring for the planet? Consider swapping your car for a hybrid. Even when you use it with gasoline, it uses less fuel, since having a smaller engine is more efficient than a traditional car.

Solar panels

A clean source of energy that is not too expensive and can help you lower your home energy costs while taking care of the environment? Solar energy panels. Relatively easy to install, they take advantage of all the sunlight, from dawn to dusk. They can be an excellent complement to the traditional source of electricity in your home.

Eco-friendly plastic

A plastic that does not pollute? It seems like science fiction, but it is a reality: the so-called polylactic acid, or PLA for its acronym in English, was created by a team of scientists from KAIST University, in Seoul, who developed it through bioengineering. In addition to not coming from oil, this new plastic is biodegradable and low-toxic.

Solar plane

The Solar Impulse aircraft, still in the test stage, travels during the day and also at night using solar energy as its sole fuel source. This non-polluting airplane has already flown over 17 hours and promises to be the future of aeronautics.

Homemade toilet paper

Another Japanese invention in favor of the environment is the White Goat machine, which allows you to recycle your office paper and turn it into a toilet paper roll. Fed with paper, cardboard and water, the system produces a cellulose pulp that is then transformed into rolls of toilet paper that look very similar to the traditional one.

Making water out of the air

Several systems that make it possible to create water by extracting hydrogen from the air are already in operation in various parts of the world. Ideal to solve the problem of the lack of water in areas that have suffered natural disasters or that lack this resource, these machines bring hope where apparently there is none.
You can see more information about the Bamboo tower that creates 25 gallons of drinkable water per day.

Bioethanol

Bioethanol is a fuel that is produced from natural agricultural products such as corn, wheat, sugar cane, and potatoes, among others. It is an excellent alternative to fossil fuels and is an ecological energy source. Bioethanol is also easy to produce and store.
