Salt and vinegar are not only used in cooking for food. As is well known, they are also used for cleaning. In this case, salt is an efficient stain remover, and vinegar is used to kill bacteria, is a disinfectant, and cuts grease. Vinegar also neutralizes bad odors; the lemon, in addition to providing the characteristic smell, is a disinfectant.

Ingredients:

– Three lemons.
– 1/4 cup of grated zote / castile soap.
– Two hundred grams of coarse salt.
– One hundred (100) milliliters of white vinegar.
– Two hundred (200) milliliters of water.

Preparation:

  1. Remove the ends of the lemons. Wash and cut, on a wooden board, the lemons (unpeeled) into small pieces (to be able to crush them well in a blender), along with the salt.
  2. Add the vinegar, the water, and liquefy once more, at maximum power.
  3. Put this together with the zote / castile soap in a pan and over medium heat, stirring every so often with a wooden spoon for about 15 minutes until the soap is completely decomposed. It tends to stick a bit, but nothing happens, then you put it in water, put it a little on the fire, and it comes off very well.
  4. Put it in the fridge and let it cool. When it is cold, stir again because it tends to get a dry layer. You can store it in the refrigerator or in a closed jar.

Use like a normal dishwasher detergent, put in two tablespoons and wash normally
